This style was an experimental type thing that never made it because it was considered too frumpy with the seersucker summer service uniform
It is a nice soft material and in good condition
It is a little warped
They are made from a typical German Trikot material which is fairly stretchy
Schleehauf formerly Landauer Aryanized Jewish Department Store Tin rations This style was an experimentalOriginal Schleehof Frher Landauer (Schleehauf formerly Landauer) tin. Landauer was a Jewish department store that was sold to a German employee, Adolf Schleehauf in 1936. Schleehauf paid a fair price and, because of that, was also subject to boycotts as a "Judenknecht" (Jewish lackey). The Stterlin writing on the tin is to appear more German. I am unsure what this small tin was originally for. I assume some sort of food stuff, like tea or bullion
