B. Leighton Petit Verdot 2015 subregion_Barbaresco New Grove Spiced will suitThis is an exceptional example of this variety, with aromas of fresh herb, violets, orange peel and black fruit. The dark fruit flavors are rich and layered, showing an exquisite sense of balance along with great length. The most frequently planted grape is Chardonnay, followed by Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Winemaking here dates to 1869, when a winemaker from Alsace planted grape vines.
