Outswinging Gate Latch Window Operators & Accessories use shorter screws (purchased separately)This gate latch is self latching and opens easily from either side of the gate. For outswinging gates, the latch mounts on the inside of the gate and strike bar mounts on the post or wall. Good for animal pens. Latches automatically when gate is closed. There is a hole punched in the release lever for installing a release cord or wire from the opposite side. This self closing gate latch features padlock eye for extra security (padlock not included).
