This rare Taff Vale Railway collar was very similar in design to the GWR ones with the exception of having TRAIN ON LINE cast in raised letters

This instrument is in ex box condition and needle swings freely

This design was the "Rolls Royce" of block instruments and this example has every cancelling button fitted. The case and base has matching numbers with M. R. Co stamped in over 4 places along with 1914. The patina and finish makes the block stands out from others.
