Inert .303 British Round – 1944 Dated DI | WWII Collectible Ammunition Infantry The law of 19 DecemberThis original inert . 303 British Mk VII ball round, dated 1944 and manufactured by DI (Defence Industries, Canada), is an excellent example of the ammunition widely issued to British and Commonwealth forces during the later stages of the Second World War. The headstamp clearly shows the DI 44 marking, confirming both its wartime production year and the respected Canadian manufacturer that supplied millions of rounds to support the Allied war effort.
