Georgian Regency Period Guard Chain earrings A few of the stonesA rare and utterly beautiful Georgian guard chain crafted in rich, 15 carat gold and dating from the early 1800s. Chains from this period known as the Regency era are uniquely special for a number of reasons scarcity, of course Georgian jewellery is rare at the best of times but pieces from the Regency era were only being made for a decade or so. And these chains were made whilst Europe was reeling from the escapades of one man and his army: Napoleon.
