I waited around hoping for a dramatic sunset which never materialized

I knew where in the preserve I wanted to go to photograph the wildflowers because there were an abundance of them

Sometimes things don't come out the way you had hoped but

I thought that this was a beautiful scene ahead of me and with the sunlight now touching the bridge that crosses over Eakin Creek West, I set up the tripod
