Lass Jason Bantle Every springNorthern Canada This wolf was the partner and alpha female to Lorde. As I snapped images of Lorde, this alpha female stood beside me just thirty meters away. An incredible experience with a pack of eight wolves. She sensed something was in her near vicinity, she just did not know what. Wolves rely heavily on their sense of smell and I was upwind of her. As I made my presence aware to her, she loped off toward her partner. They continued down the
