Rolling hills of color make up the mixed grasslands from Badlands National Park

to the oranges as the spring sun breaks the horizon on this beautiful June morning in Northern Illinois

I look for an area with reflections of the box elder trees that will help compliment the sunset off in the distance with cumulus clouds moving slowly above at Wildflower Park

I moved about with the tripod a bit isolating on this one flower to get a perfect shot that had a few drops of dew on the petals

Made up of buttes, pinnacles, spires and a wide expanse of mixed grasses.
