Probably made in Edinburgh, bloodstone comes from the Hebridean isle of Rm off the west coast of Scotland. The stones display a gorgeous deep, moody green colour with flecks of red variously scattered throughout. Crafted in sterling silver and dating from the Victorian period, circa 1870.
