I was thinking where I would photograph the sunrise and thought that the bridge over a frozen South Fork Kishwaukee River and the peachleaf willow tree would be a good place to set up the tripod

The fog was going to be around for a few more hours so photographing any kind of sunrise was out of the question. After photographing the wildflowers for a couple hours, the fog was still about and peaked my interest to find subjects that would help compliment the atmosphere that the fog brought to the landscape.
