R. wood cased lamp in out repeater, this instrument gave an indication to the signal that an oil lamp was lit at the signal. In the top of the signal lamp case was a Pyrometer which had a bi metallic switch, when lit the switch expanded, if the lamp went out the switch would cool breaking the circuit. The indicator flag would show lamp out and a bell would ring. This example is much rare as it repeated 2 signal lamps hence
