The "bullet" attaches to the home and the catch mounts to the shutter. After installation the shutter holder allows a 2" clearance between the face of the shutter and the wall. The holding force is about 25lbs. The spring keeper measures approximately 7 8"H x 1"W x 1"D. The post measures 1 3 4" and the screw is 1 1 2" long.
