Jim Barry Assyrtiko 2017 Color:White Expressive and elegantPale straw. Nose of pear, peach and raspberry. Crisp and fruity, dry, less minerality and saline than the Santorini DOCs. Clare Valley, but wasnt so determined. Pale lemon, citrus & mineral nose. High acidity, white flower as mentioned above, chalky minerality. I perceived slight oak like flavor but it might come from lees.
