Mini Dogon Ladder 03 Whilst crossing a bridge overThis old object was sourced at an auction of rare collectors items being sold by private sellers. This collection of rare miniature versions of Dogon ladders are from the Ivory Coast. Each one is hand carved from a single piece of indigenous wood, with carved notch details to form ladder steps. The larger forms would be used to climb to fetch grains which were stored on the hut of the roof to keep them safe from animals. Stand is included. Please note
