Shayan runner Dark green spandrelsA 1940s 1950s carpet from Abadeh in southwest Persia. Light red field with dark brown centre medallion and spandrels. Horsehead columns to each side and what look to us like Eeyore figures in the centre. Also a number of small birds. Ivory floral main border.
