Narges vintage Traditional motifs of guls andA 1920s Karaja rug from north west Persia. A beautiful execution of a classic Karaja design. Faded pink field with dark blue medallion within an ivory hooked outline, flanked by a pale green shield medallion each side outlined in ivory. Dark blue main border of angular trailing flowers; terracotta and dark blue floral guards. Accents in duck egg blue, mid blue, caramel and midnight blue. Overall even wear with slight loss to ends. 180 x 126cm
