Parastoo cushions leaves and birdsA very attractive antique 1920s runner from north west Persia with subtle colouring and classic design motifs. Pink terracotta field with central row of variously coloured octagons each with a hooked medallion within. Various filler ornaments. Ivory angular motifs in main border and pale green flowerhead guards. Overall even wear with colour run in a couple of places. Lacking outer guard at lower end. Video here. 318 x 112cm
