The tunic did not come with any buttons

The eagles themselves are in good condition and quite clean but I did notice a little dirt or staining on the base material which is folded under and not visible when put on a tunic

This is the early-mid war version based on the pocket design (it changed in 1944)

Thiel Pocket Watch Missing Loop artillery The case measures about 4"Nice looking Thiel pocket watch which seems to run quite strongly and seems to be keeping good time. Unfortunately, the little loop at the top that allows you to attach it to a watch chain is missing. Thiel was an inexpensive German made watch which was actually quite popular during the war. It was sort of an every man's watch and they frequently advertised in Wehrmacht magazines.
