The heel nails have a shorter shank as it is only driven up into the heel where as the ones for the sole of the boot went through the sole and were folded around it. The price is for 10 nails. A typical boot requires 20 30ish nails for one heel. Usually around 26. Some have a bit of rust. All are dirty.
