When mating season approaches their eyes turn light blue to light tan This one must be in breeding plumage. I see these guys year round in our cove. Its a sight you never get tried seeing. The painting measures 12 x 16. The frame is solid wood and custom for this painting. We finish each one with an undercoated metallic glaze and a nice cream crackle top coat, giving an elegant coastal feel.
