The red paint is obviously very old and not the original color of the box it looks like there might be a layer of green and a layer of white underneath

Propaganda Rifle Grenade Box women's The wire diameter is aboutBox for a rather rare rifle grenade round. This is the transport box for the Propaganda rifle grenade. It is a little worn and dirty but in overall nice condition. There is a remnant of the paper label inside and just enough writing left to make out Gewehr propagandagranate. The box would have held 40 rounds. This is the first example I have ever seen of this box and it is slightly different from standard rifle grenade boxes.
