even when in 1943 its Berlin headquarters office was bombed and burned down

The weave and overall look of the gloves is very good

5L Trinkwasser Ritter D.R.P.Ang. uniform It needs sandblastedNice 5L trinkwasser with either a very good color repaint or original tan paint, no visible stenciling. It does have a black gasket and does seal. It has a few dents and dings but is overall very nice. The top is marked Ritter Aluminum D. R. P. ang. The bottom is also marked Ritter Aluminum Made in Germany, Usually the markings on the bottom are worn off. A very nice example, just needs a good cleaning.
