All I can say for this one is that the ones I know to be post war are made from a rather crappy stiff cotton
The cuffs and collar have several small holes
The hem is coming loose and needs restitched
It is possible that this was done at the original factory but it seems more likely to me that the defective zeltbahn was sent on to a subcontractor for repairs

It is in OK used, condition. Slight discoloration spots on the cover. Some wear on the spine. This is one of the earliest ones we have had and it has more information in it than the later war books. There is an interesting ying yang property stamp in back cover along with a a handwritten name and 1940 date. This first name matches
