There are initials scratched in the bottom and the inside of the lid

Some pulls in the material and some odd seams along the waist

Marked France on the back

These are getting to be nearly impossible to find on our trips to Germany

Reproduction Wool Puttees equipment There are initials scratched inReproduction wool puttees. Reproduction of what? I don't know. They seem to be more Italian in pattern than German. Might be a WWI repro. I don't know where these came from or why I own them. Length: long. They are very long even for puttees. I don't know that they've ever been used, but they do have some storage wear general dirt.
