I did not see a date, but am guessing WWI based on the photo of coins from the early 1900s and there is an addition by von Weltzien Oberleutnant im Infanterie Regiment Nr. 26 kdt. zur Kriegsakademie. It is in OK condition, still usable and holding together but it does show wear. There is are pen writing inside on several pages. It is pocket sized, measuring about 5 3 8" by 3 1 8".
