The Carbon washers helped a bit more compared to the fibre and leather ones, but for the heavier lines I plan to use on this reel I still have to really crank down on that star

Anglers who often fish around rocky structures, heavy grass/weeded areas, and kelp would be wise to have their reels spooled with braid
