Mine is same rod holder but I had an old one and just welded a piece of square ali tubing same size as reece hitch tube on to at a 45 degree angle tilting forwards (similair to pic above), drilled hole for the pin and it slides into the reece hitch and locks in the same way the hitch does
It should be retreating from them when they find it
