Dress #060: Victorian dress in wine. 2016 Handbag and features gold flamingoes onThis hand stitched Victorian paper gown is based on an American dress from ca. 1887. The body of the dress is made from Kin Sunago, a Japanese paper with flecks of gold and silver on the surface. Glass beads stand in for the buttons that run down each side of the bodice, and lacing holds the front together. Hand embroidered lines imitate the seams and folds of the dress. It is stitched onto cold pressed 100% cotton paper. The original dress is held by
